For the legendary Governors Ball Music Festival, Live Nation and Founders Entertainment wanted a fresh approach for a vibrant new location in 2023. TAIT embraced the opportunity to transform Flushing Meadows, Corona Park into a mesmerizing treat for the senses. We set to work blending nature, technology, art, and a stunning musical lineup across multiple stages.

We choreographed the complex logistical and creative elements that spawned the new Governors Ball experience, with over 60 performers across three stages in this three-day festival. The electrifying roster of artists included Lizzo, Lil Uzi Vert, ODESZA, Lil Baby, Kendrick Lamar, and Pusha T, alongside some of the freshest up-and-coming acts from around the globe.
We curated every aspect of the festival, collaborating with sponsors, vendors, and artists. From incredible AR experiences to the mouth-watering flavors of the Queens Night Market to the well-stocked cocktail lounges, we made sure every corner of the festival was an experience worthy of the epic, star-studded line-up.
The Governors Ball proved once again why it’s a can't-miss staple of the New York cultural calendar, and Corona Park provided a glorious setting for this celebration of music and art. The event captured the hearts of festival-goers while also earning widespread media coverage – Rolling Stone called the line-up “incredible”, and NME named the event “New York City’s favorite festival”.
