When Cornell University wanted to commemorate the 10th anniversary of its innovative Cornell Tech campus on Roosevelt Island in NYC, TAIT was called upon to craft an unforgettable occasion. The Cornell Tech University anniversary event was not just a celebration but a monumental showcase of how far the graduate campus and research center has come, setting the stage for its future expansion.
Having supported Cornell Tech NYC from breaking ground through to its opening, our latest collaboration marked a decade of educational and technological advancement. For this milestone event, held at the Verizon Center on the Cornell Tech campus on Roosevelt Island, our team orchestrated an evening that perfectly blended sophistication with cutting-edge technology. Attendees enjoyed a local jazz quintet while sipping champagne under the post-modern architectural ceiling. The visual centerpiece was a dimensional scenic backdrop that enhanced the viewing experience of a retrospective video chronicling ten years of achievements.
Prominent figures, including NYC's current and former mayors and key academic leaders, shared the stage, adding gravitas to the celebration at Cornell Tech University. The event reached its zenith with Inovación Monumental, a dramatic performance by Ballet Hispánico, developed in collaboration with Cornell Tech researchers. This piece not only displayed artistic beauty but also demonstrated seamless integration of technology and performance art, thanks to our expert technical direction and multimedia production.
This event did more than just celebrate an anniversary; it highlighted Cornell Tech's role in transforming New York City into a hub for technology and innovation.
