Additionally, TAIT created the largest kinetic light installation in concert touring history for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, was the production specialist that partnered with NASA to put the lyrics of U2’s ‘Beautiful Day’ into orbit, received a Guinness World Record title for its LED integration and customization at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the London Olympics, fabricated Las Vegas’ Omnia Nightclub Chandelier at Caesar’s Palace and created the first-ever commercial use of the Cable Coaster Virtual Reality simulator for National Geographic’s “Experience Mars.”

1972
Michael Tait devises one of the first self-contained lighting systems dubbed the TAIT Tower.
1978
While working for the band Yes, Michael Tait founds TAIT Towers, a live design and set construction entertainment rock n' roll staging company.
1983
Michael Jackson does his first moonwalk on TAIT Towers' uniquely designed and fabricated decking.
1984
TAIT continues to grow, adding President/CEO, James "Winky" Fairorth.
1994
TAIT engineers staging for the record-breaking Rolling Stones' Voodoo Lounge tour.
1995
TAIT moves to a new location in Lititz, Pennsylvania with over 40,000 square feet of space and a 25,000 square foot facility for set storage and staging rentals.
1997
Adam Davis, Partner, joins the TAIT family.
1998
TAIT tracks the first video screen on Janet Jackson's The Velvet Rope tour.
2000
TAIT continues to build sets and staging for the biggest tours of the decade, including U2, Bon Jovi, Madonna, and the Police.
2006
TAIT announces announces a newly formed executive team with James "Winky" Farirorth and Adam Davis as equal partners with Michael Tait.
2007
TAIT invents its patented MagDeck system- a revolutionary time-saving means of assembling a stage for rock n' roll staging and all other staging.
2008
TAIT goes to space, partnering with NASA and U2 to design elements for a video shoot on the space shuttle Endeavour.
2012
TAIT transforms the face of video overnight at the 2012 London Olympics with the pixel-tablet and Guinness World Record Title for largest landscape video display.
2013
TAIT takes part in Metallica's Freeze 'EM All: Live in Antarctica. To date, TAIT has engineered productions through all 7 continents, and even outer space.
2014
TAIT acquires Stage Technologies and Delstar Engineering. TAIT now includes TAIT Navigator and all other automation within the acquisition of these companies.
2015
TAIT expands its headquarter's footprint to 500,000 square feet. TAIT takes part in worldwide live-streamed events via multimedia outlets.
