The Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, commonly referred to as the AA, is the oldest independent school of architecture in the UK and one of the most prestigious and competitive in the world. As an Alumni, Mark Fisher combined his skills as an architect and a designer with a passion for rock and roll, pioneering the modern stadium performance and with it reimagining what we understand as the architectural spectacle.
TAIT and the Architectural Association School established the Mark Fisher Scholarship in memory of Mark Fisher, a graduate and inspiring teacher at the school, who passed away in 2013. TAIT and Mark Fisher worked closely on ground-breaking live events around the world.
This scholarship affords the equivalent of two full years of school fees for students of exceptional talent who express interest in the intersection of architecture, performance, media and engineering.
