The stage was built from TAIT’s proprietary, modular Mag Deck System™, creating a raised performance surface for the band. Stage right was a fully working bar with eight bar stools, with a custom vinyl finish and a fully stocked bar. Left of stage was the ‘Juke Joint’ area where the backup singers performed and two band risers were built center-stage, each with a concrete fascia. Upstage center was a vintage jukebox, rebuilt with custom LED lighting and continuing the Juke Joint theme, an abstract curtain backdrop depicted bricks, graffiti, and buildings to make it seem as if the audience were walking down an alley.
Given the variety of venues the tour was due to take in, the stage needed to be reconfigurable for different sized locations. Ultimately, TAIT created a fully modular staging and scenic system that comprised two different Juke Joint configurations and three different configurations for the bar setup.
The project was delivered entirely from TAIT’s HQ in Lititz, PA.
