History
Founded in 1978 by Michael Tait, we made a name in rock ‘n’ roll, quickly becoming one of the most innovative suppliers of touring staging, scenic, and automation for live events. Decades later, we continue to build on our fearless legacy of constant improvement.
Since then many best-in-class companies have become part of the TAIT Group. Thinkwell, productionglue, and Kinesys enable us to bring our vision to even more worlds.

Sustainability
Building a more sustainable future is the greatest challenge of all, and it has to be accomplished through global collaboration. We work with the Sustainability in Production Alliance (SIPA) and LIVE Green to drive industry-wide change and further our sustainability efforts.
We’re also constantly refining our practices to repurpose materials and reduce waste. We’ve built a database of all our reconfigurable inventory to help clients and design teams create with circularity in mind. We’re also rolling out a company-wide global education program to get more of TAIT’s problem solvers thinking of ways we can improve.
Our offices in the UK are transitioning to renewable energy, and we’ve implemented infrastructure to report our carbon emissions globally. Both our Neasden and Haverhill UK Offices are ISO14001 accredited, and our manufacturing facilities are diligently monitoring their waste streams to maximize their recycling potential.
As we help lead our industry into the future, it’s important for us to do everything we can to positively impact what that future looks like.
