The Black Crowes’ reunion tour was meant to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band’s seminal debut album, Shake Your Money Maker. However, the much-anticipated live shows had to be rescheduled due to the global pandemic. After a year-long delay, TAIT was challenged to help the band deliver an unforgettable live show befitting the classic album’s retro rock’n’roll swagger.

To bring The Black Crowes’ vision to life, we built a fully working bar on stage with a vintage jukebox, rebuilt with custom LED lighting, which opened the show. We created a raised performance area for the band using our modular Mag Deck system, with concrete-fronted band risers. And to complete the back alley atmosphere, we created a curtain backdrop depicting bricks, graffiti, and buildings. Through meticulous attention to detail and creative ingenuity, we helped the Black Crowes transport their audience back in time to deliver a truly unforgettable concert experience.
The Black Crowes' Shake Your Money Maker 30th anniversary tour was a resounding success, captivating audiences across the globe with an extended run of over 100 shows. The live show was also recorded for posterity and is available as a celebrated two-disc live album.
