Coldplay's epic Music of the Spheres World Tour demanded an audacious staging solution. The vision: a celestial theme that mirrored the album artwork, featuring a three-stage stadium setup with runways linking each stage so the band could get up close and personal with the crowd. TAIT partnered with the band to bring this galactic-focused, one-of-a-kind stadium show to life.

Our Mag Deck staging system provided the foundation for the three-stage layout and runways, which allowed singer Chris Martin to move through the center of the audience as he performed. A hemisphere video screen rose up from downstage with camera rings located directly behind the band riser, and a custom-made laser mirror ball was suspended above the mainstage, adding a stunning visual focal point for the show.
The epic 177-date Music of the Spheres World Tour ranks as the third-highest-grossing and second-most-attended tour of all time. To celebrate the tour's success, a film, Music of the Spheres: Live at River Plate, was broadcast to cinemas around the world.
