Resorts World Las Vegas—a 5,000-capacity, multi-level live performance venue—is the first new development on the Las Vegas strip in over a decade. Venue operator AEG approached TAIT to lend automation, rigging, and staging expertise to the project, having previously worked together on the house system for the Resorts World Theatre in Singapore.

We built a complex automation system consisting of 12 line sets with 11 BT2-490 winches and a custom 170-ft winch, all of which are controlled by our proprietary Navigator Automation Platform. Our Mag Deck risers, stage apron, and tech ledger system add flexibility to the enormous 13,500 square feet of staging, delivering even more performance space where required and additional lighting and audio positions.

This state-of-the-art theater is now one of the jewels in Las Vegas’ entertainment crown. The first show through the doors was Carrie Underwood’s REFLECTION residency—another project of ours—designed specifically to make the most of the near-limitless potential of the Resorts World Theatre setup. Billboard described the show as “a fiery 90-minute performance of feel-good hits,” while the Los Angeles Times called it an “only-in-Vegas spectacle, replete with astounding special effects, gasp-inducing pyrotechnics, and innovative visual and audio technology framing Underwood’s megawatt star power.”
