The theater’s centerpiece is a giant 110-foot curved 4K LED screen, composed of over 17 million pixels. The screen is made up of 12 automated panels and two doors seamlessly integrated into the screen. A 20-foot-diameter, 28-foot-tall circular scrim is teamed with eight Panasonic 20K laser projectors for projection mapping and creates a 360-degree wraparound picture. The icing on the cake for this one-of-a-kind installation is the towering scenic LED tree, almost 20 feet tall with a canopy of 4800 LED leaves.
Celebrity Apex now features the most technologically advanced theater in Celebrity Cruises’ fleet, with TAIT Navigator providing pinpoint control. Navigator also operates performer flying winches in two other venues aboard the ship—the Eden and the Club. This stunning theater install delivers ultimate flexibility through a variety of stage configurations and the capability to create a wide variety of performer flying stunts.

The ship has proved a huge hit with reviewers and travelers. Celebrity Apex has won the Premium Ship Gold Award in Travel Weekly’s Magellan Awards for two consecutive years and became one of the first cruise ships to be star-rated by Forbes Travel Guide in 2024.
