LED Integration

In mid-2023, MDLBEAST set out to create a versatile, standalone venue in Jeddah. Strategically located near Al Jawharah Stadium within King Abdullah Sports City, the space is designed to host their own flagship events and serve as a state-of-the-art permanent entertainment & events destination as well as other live experiences. Across the six-month build, TAIT coordinated multiple disciplines to deliver auxiliary patron areas (F&B, entry points) and comprehensive BOH spaces for crews, operations, and artist hospitality—ensuring operational efficiency and a premium guest experience.

TAIT was engaged to deliver the end-to-end design, build, and handover of the Jeddah Onyx Arena: a permanent structure featuring a large-scale engineered tent, custom façade, expansive audience amenities, and fully equipped back-of-house facilities.

Our scope spanned master planning, environmental design, technical direction, vendor management, permitting, and on-site fabrication. The architectural and technical blueprint integrated scenic façades, LED elements, and robust structural systems, balancing aesthetic impact with long-term durability.

Across the six-month build, TAIT coordinated multiple disciplines to deliver auxiliary patron areas (F&B, entry points) and comprehensive BOH spaces for crews, operations, and artist hospitality—ensuring operational efficiency and a premium guest experience.

The result was a fully realized, multi-purpose arena—more than just a tent—designed for flexibility, repeat-use capability, and high production value. Onyx Arena is primed to host a diverse range of events; from concerts to live shows, exhibitions & conferences, sports events, festivals, esports events, gala dinners, launch ceremonies, and beyond.
